Last night I stayed up later than usual engaged in a bidding war on eBay. I found this really awesome jacket that retails for $250 (in a petite small even, which is hard to find in stores) that I had to have. There was one other bidder that I kept going back and forth with over the last few days. I let her think she had won until about 2 minutes before the auction ended, then I emerged victorious. Ha.
Yesterday Ivy's teacher at daycare said she wouldn't drink any milk or juice. She only had one wet diaper all afternoon. I pushed the liquids on her last night and I'm hoping she's not getting sick. She was really grumpy this morning and wanted me to hold her. She still found it in her to do a dance to some MC Hammer.
I know that I talk about how smart my daughter is and how great my husband is, but I'm a very unpretentious person. I was just brought up that way. One thing that really annoys me is people who feel they constantly need to shove in your face how great they think they are. People who are always self-promoting. To me that is just a show of insecurity. If you truly believe you are that awesome, you wouldn't feel the need to tell everyone about it. They would already know. Everyone else simply does not care. Luckily I don't have to deal with people like that every day.

Yay for your winning friend!
I hope little Ivy is not getting sick either. Poor sweet girl!
As for the end of your post, AMEN, AMEN and AMEN!!! I could not have said this any better! I am actually dealing with someone on this level now. I am usually pretty bold and would tell the person nicely how I feel. However, this is a much worse case of her bragging on herself that it's really pathetic and I feel very sorry for her. Great post!
Have a great weekend!
